I to just got a call from thim phone number. I called it right back and no answer. SCAMMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well I give number like this one to my local sherriffs office.
Who ever these people are they are persistent. They have called work, home, and cell numbers. They state that there is pending legislation against me and provide a case # with a request that they receive a call back from you and/or your lawyer. When you do call, an extremely rude and arrogant woman answers and asks for your to confirm that you are who you say are. When I asked her to identify herself and the nature/name of the company the only thing she says is the company's name is AMG. She then got angry when I asked her additional probing questions and hung up. Do not give them any confirmation of who you are instead turn the table back on them! It ridiculous and scams like this need to be stopped.
Just received a recorded call from this number with some legal threats on it. Called the number back and it rang and rang til an automated system picked up to say that no one was at ext. 2000. This seems like a scam to get money.
Just received a call from the same number with a recorded message making threats about legal action and a subpoena being served. I tried to call the number back and all I got was the person at ext 2000 is unavailable. This is some kind of a scam. I googled AMG based on the other person's post and no such company for AMG other than some type of phone line. Bunch of crap and scammers!!!
