An ex-coworker called me that I'd received a call from these people with a legal threat against me. I haven't worked there in years. I had applied for a loan online years ago, so I know that's the only way they have gotten my information. I think they steal information, and probably resell your information to other thieves, so your name keeps getting recirculated.
I recieved a call from these people and after being told what was going on I did recall that I had recieved a loan so I paid them. I reviewed my credit report and I did see that that debt has been paid off on my report. Its just said that people know they take out loans and then dont want to pay them back. Some people need to be adults and own up to their debts and responsibilities, and stop trying to get money for free and not wanting to pay it back!!!! PEOPLE WHO OBTAIN LOANS AND DONT PAY THEM BACK ARE IGNORATN AND ARE THE REAL SCAMMERS!!!!!!
I received a call as well.... I did remember taking out the loan but it was so long ago..Thank Goodness I paid it because that same day after I paid a guy came to my house saying he was serving me some papers for two fradulent charges..after contacting the rep she let the guy know that I took care of it! I dont have time for court!
hey this is so weird!!! I had the same number call me and I paid them in full...hours later the sheriff came to my house with court papers...I had to call the company and let them know that I paid!!! they did straighten everything out for me and I was so glad that someone was in the office to contact the courts in my area!!!
