Got a call from this # immediately after blocking calls from two other scam #s. Didn't give it time for the answering machine to pick up, number went directly into call blocker memory. Caller ID said CH Services whoever or whatever that may be, don't know if it was related to the other two spoofed numbers that called 54 minutes before.
Unwanted, unsolicited call refusing to identity themselves. Looking for credit card info. Would like to have them stop by my home for a pleasant conversation. Won't bother anyone anymore.
"There's nothing wrong with your credit card," she said. "[***] you," I yelled. Interestingly, the line went dead after that. Then I added them to my phone's block caller list.
DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR CREDIT CARD OR BANK. HANG UP ON THEM. REPORTING THEM TO THE FCC IS A WASTE OF TIME.
Anyone who gives ONE PENNY to anyone over the phone is either not so bright, or old and scared.
So, these scammers count on that, finding the old, the ignorant, the senile, what we need to do is protect these kind of people.
Since this GOVERNMENT DOES NOTHING TO STOP THESE THIEVES, (the do not call list is purely a way for our GOV to sell our phone numbers, dont believe me? Go purchase it, anyone can, get your number off of it) then we need to take matters into our own hands to educate people.
So what you need to tell people is, no matter how they threat or scare you, or just plain you think your buying something, never ever ever give your credit card, your social security, wire money etc..over the phone. To anyone ever.
