Same thing for me except it was thomas gibson. And the charges were fraud with malicious intent. For a loan of 350 which grew to 780 and now wanted 1500.
I got a call from that number, they left a message about a fraud charges and said for me and/or my attorney to contact them. Claiming I owe 5k for unpaid loan..
Received a call from 402-218-1535. I never answer calls from numbers I don't know. They didn't leave a message, but based on the comments above, it sounds like yet another debt collection scam.
They say District 2175 and that I need to call them immediately or my retained attorney. However, they do not say who they are or who they are trying to contact.They are annoying and called me yesterday from another number 402-218-4688. Both numbers are from Omaha Nebraska. I am not calling them back or answering the phone.
I am getting the exact same message on voicemail. I wasn't sure what it was but know enough to let calls I don't know go to vm. Thank you! This site makes me feel a bit better. I'm not the only one!
