Same thing for me except it was thomas gibson. And the charges were fraud with malicious intent. For a loan of 350 which grew to 780 and now wanted 1500.
Got the exact same message. I called them back & they have all my information including full social security number. Def believe its a scam but gonna put a freeze on my credit anyways
I just received a call from this +1 (402) 218-1535 number as well... After first receiving a voice mail saying contact your lawyer good luck, so I called back shortly after that. I talked to a rude woman who wouldn't let me get a damn word in!! She told me I had taken out an online payday loan back in 2012-13 and didn't pay back. She knew my email address & my previous address but no social. She then told me I had to pay $800 dollars today minimum or I'd be sitting behind plexi glass window by the end of the day and would have a warrant out for my arrest. I didn't know what to think but I clearly got upset she then told me I had 15 min. To call whoever I could to loan me money etc so I got off the phone in tears and my bf called back yelling at them asking to speak with a manager.. He got hung up on multiple times then by the end finally they told him he could be on the warrant too. Ok!! My roommate called our local police department and was told it's a scam!! Let's get these sick [***] shut down.
Wife was receiving these harassing calls from this number, I called them and these people are ridiculous. They did seem to have some personal information regarding my wife but it was all old no longer relevant things. Said legal action was being taken because of a loan she took out on the internet. To get this information took nearly 20+ calls back to these people as they continuously hung up on me as I asked them questions of who they worked for what what not. This is a big bunch of fraud.
The icing on the cake for me was when one gentlemen decided to yell at me when I raised my voice and told me "I know every thing about you so you better be careful what you say to me or you will find yourself in prison with your wife" Really what normal business person would say that. Report this number as it is FRAUD!
