Received a recorded message from this number saying there is a returned item on your bank account and " if you don't respond, a decision will be made that is not in your favor". Immediately checked this website-figured it was a scam. Thank You to everyone who reports these people!!!
Got a recorded call from this number this morning. Recording stated that I should call them back immediately or they were going to freeze my bank account due to "checking account issues". I checked with my bank and they said there are no issues with my account.
Similar message to Bill's. Very vague message about "a returned item from your bank." "If you do not return your call immediately we will be forced to pursue this matter to the full extent in your state." I have no return items and the message is both automated and vague. Let them "pursue." Obviously the newest scam. Reporting them to the Do Not Call complaint line.

Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1. Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2. Demand a debt validation letter by US mail. E-mail no good.
3. Do not pay the collection agent or anyone else a dime until the debt is validated
If they are bothering you, report them:
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection
Also contact your local attorney general
If they continue to bother you, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.
got a message recording today.. says to call them they were going to take legal action. Returned call. They gave me other information on other people claiming I was listed as a co-signer. Ran my annual credit check and everything looks good. I am totally fed-up with the Stupid Tell-A-Markers calling me EVERY DAY!!!!
