This is a legitimate number from State Farm Claims, was regarding an accident between me and my neighbor. And regarding police reports, they need verbal confirmation from the parties about where liability is for fault for the claim process to go forward.
Got a letter claiming to be from State Farm Insurance with this phone # on it to call pertaining to an accident claim with their client. The clients name is completely different from the drivers name on the police report & the letter is not signed by any insurance claims adjuster, etc. They claim to have tried to contact us several times but were not having any luck. Have caller ID & do not pick up calls from these type of #'s so if they don't leave a message it won't ever be answered. Kind of leary as to if this is a ligitimate business or if this is a comon practice of State Farm Insurance. If they need information they can contact our insurance persons on the matter. Good luck to anyone dealing with this insurance company or scam.
This number is legit. I just got into an accident and I made a claim and this is the number from their claims department. Anyone who has had a call from this number about a claim but hasnt made one I would say they have the wrong number.
This is a State Farm Claims number. If they are calling you then likely you were involved in a loss. They will still need to speak with you even if there was a police report done as they will need to confirm the accident facts.
