yep, got exact same call..I asked the woman 3x for her name and all 3x it was this is the Chamber of Commerce..She wante dme toverify address of business, I told her I had this same conversation with someone else and they should have it on file. (No, I didn't have conversation previously, that was a lie..LOL) She, then said she'd make a note of it and that was it.
Called and verified the name of my business and address. Then asked who the owner/manager was. Said they were updating info for the Chamber of Commerce. She said "thank you for your time," then hung up. Definitely not with the CoC.
Called my office, asked me to confirm the name of our company, who our owner was and how many employees we had. When I answered (which I wished I hadn't), I said who is this? She just said thank you for your time and hung up, never saying who she was. I tried to call the number back and it just rings with no one answering.
Girl called and asked for info such as business name and owner name, when asked her who she was she said chamber of commerce, thank you, and hung up on me
