Called to take a customer satisfaction survey for my bank visit yesterday. Knew my full name and time of visit. The caller concluded the survey telling me that my bank would give me a call the next day for a more detailed conversation. Alarms went off in my head hearing this so I called my bank with details of the caller and survey. Bank has no knowledge of this company, phone number, and only does surveys through email.
Bottom line, these are "phishers" - looking to gain information on your bank account. Call your bank when they call and give them no information. My bank is investigating how they even knew about my business at the bank. It is possible other criminal activity from these folks is happening.
A woman called and asked if I had visited a bank I have an account at on a specific date because she wanted to do a customer satisfaction survey. I told her I had called, but not physically gone to the bank, so she said she had no questions for me.
