These people call atleast twice a day and I just recieved a call 10 minutes ago, they always ask for me. She said she was calling about my active VISA/MASTER CARD account. Thats when I cut her off and told her that I didn't have any account I also warned her not to call again or I would report her to the BBB she said have a nice day and hung up.
This number has shown up a multitude of times on my caller ID. Finally today I answered it and a man claimed he could lower my CC interest rate. I asked him how he got any info from my banks, etc and he said something to the effect that a credit organization and/or my banks sent his company my info. I found this very odd. I don't know what made him think I had high rates on my credit cards as I hadn't mentioned it and it is not true. My suspicions are now maxed....I asked the man a few more questions about how he got my info again and he wanted me to speak to his supervisor because he had just started that job today. He also seemed to be getting impatient with me because I was persistant in asking him how he got any info on me. Now I really know it is crap. Please do not give these people any personal info and block their calls!
Some lady called me on my business phone asking for a person that used to own my number. I informed her that there was no one at this number by that name and to take this number off of her list. She told me to stop acting GAY. Can you believe that. She hung up on me first thing.Hilarious!!
I received a call today from this number claiming that they could lower my CC interest rates at no cost to me. When I started asking questions the guy I was speaking with transfered me to a lady supposedly named "Linda Dodson, ID#LD14". She proceeded to lay into me for not taking advantage of a no-brainer opportunity. She raised her voice repeatedly and persisted about getting my CC acount number to verify my debt and eligibility for their program. She game me a number to reach her at (888-292-3421), which has been posted on these websites as being a fraud and bogus. This so-called company is a fraud and WILL SCAM YOU! They refused to mail me anything because "they could only offer this to me over the phone" because I had not responded to their previously mailings (which she admitted that it probably looked like junk mail). Unfortunately they already had alot of my personal information that they wanted me to verify, so I immediately contacted my CC company to cancel my card just in case. Don't give them any more information and monitor your CC activity.
