Since the CLID said "WIRELESS CALLER" and the number is local, I picked up and said "hello". I immediately received a recording that started out by saying "Congratulations, you have just won a free cruise". I immediately hung up the phone. 95% of the time I don't answer or pick up the call and hang up immediately. Since I live in the ATL area, and since it looked like a cell phone - all I can say is they got me on that one!
Recorded voice told me I won a FREE trip! I have heard this woman's recorded voice before. Our phone service only allows us to block 12 calls before we have to reset to zero and then they call back. I try and look at the area code before picking up but sometimes one just picks up the phone. What a waste of my time. Needless to say, I wish I had their home phone number.
Just got a call from this number. Did NOT answer. Do NOT want to hear NOTHING from whoever on other line. I do NOT know you, I do NOT answer. GO AWAY and LEAVE ME ALONE!
Area code 404 is metro Atlanta, along with overlay codes 678 and 770. Anyone can get a cellphone from any multi-carrier dealer and get it programmed for any AC.
