Since the CLID said "WIRELESS CALLER" and the number is local, I picked up and said "hello". I immediately received a recording that started out by saying "Congratulations, you have just won a free cruise". I immediately hung up the phone. 95% of the time I don't answer or pick up the call and hang up immediately. Since I live in the ATL area, and since it looked like a cell phone - all I can say is they got me on that one!
Hide ya' kids, hide ya' wives, hide ya' husbands cause they spoofin everybody.. I got a bogus telemarketing call from this number that Comcast tells me traces back to a Marietta, Georgia resident. Apparently he's a well known con artist who cons people for a living because he lacks the mental faculties to carve out a legit living. Guy's record suggests he's a meth addled retard who thinks he's a genius for learning how to place spoofed calls during a 5 day bender.
these low life are scammers, spammers, likwise they hang up when machine picks up. Have a friend who works for a phone co. She traced it to a cell which is a scammer what else ? of course they feed on the old, & anyone they can steal from . Do NOT give them info & do as we do report them & do not pick up an answer yourself let your answering machine do it or if you dont have one let it ring. Talked to the FCC & FTC they said it is becomeing a world wide problem with scammers. Just keep reporting them like I do. These blood suckers need the tables turned on them .
