A Vanessa Downing called and said that they were from the Legal Processing Unit and they had an affadvit that they needed to serve me at my last legal address, but the documents were rejected. She went on to say that I should call her at 4043344653 to avoid futher legal action.
The person I spoke with stated her name was Ms. Evans and she was representing Equity Funding, she stated that they were reaching out to me because I had taken a payday loan out and had not made payments. I asked her for their contact information as I had not taken out such a loan, she then told me she was not able to give out any information.
I called back and asked who she was working for, she then provided the following information:

Atlanta, GA 30326
After which she put me on hold and never came back to the phone.
REAL process servers do NOT call before arriving.
Refusing to give company information - ILLEGAL per the FDCPA!
