My phone rang, I looked at my Call I.D., didn't recognize the number and didn't pick up. The message was from NACA. The message - mortages to help save my home. They called despite the fact that my phone number is registered with the Do Not Call Registry and I live in an apartment. I suggest - if you feel harrassed - filing a complaint with the FCC online. http://www.fcc.gov/
We are getting calls from this number....we do not need help with our mortgage...we have never been to any workshop seeking help....we have been paying our mortgage "yearly" ...that means we make one payment for the year...we have been doing this for the last 6 years.....WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE CALLING US???????????
NACA...loans to low and moderate income who are considered to be subprime borowers.....never been to any session with these people.......have owned our home for 20 years...for the last 6 years we have made one yearly mortgage payment.$12,000 why would we need these peoples help.......they are 100% SCAM calls to us....they do not know who they are calling...
I received a call this morning and did not answer. Because I have a call blocker system, they cannot annoy me. I just delete them at the end of the day. I too, have questions about how they are getting our numbers. My mortgage is none of their business and if someone gave them my number after attending one of their seminars then shame on them. I do not have a "sub prime" mortgage and am in no financial difficulty. I am a "well-off" very private person. Any company that solicits like this is nothing more than a cheap, unethical telemarketer. Let's get the word our to everyone. Ignore these people, don't do "business" with them, and let's make them go away.
