I don't have Caller ID, but someone from Senior Diabetic Network has been calling and calling. They stopped for a while and have started again. Who are they and what can we do?
Telemarketer. On Jan 21, 2011, I received a call from this number on my cell phone. It is the first known telemarketing call I have received on my cell phone number. When I answered there was a long pause, no one came on the line in the few seconds before I hung up. Recognizing this tactic as a telemarketer's signature method of calling by using auto-dialers until they receive a "hit", or an answer from the person being victimized, I hung up. I immediately called the number back & heard a recording stating that the phone number has been disconnected. Even though I have my cell number registered with DO NOT CALL, I still received this disgusting telemarketing call.
I also received a few calls already from Seniors Diabetic Network. When I insisted on speaking to a manager for a good few minutes, they hung up on me. They said there was no manager present but that they would take me off the list, which they promised me last time. The man sounded Indian and not from this country. Sooooo pissed and tired of these people calling. Please help!
