Called business number around 6 pm. CID says "Tax Help Center." Let call go to voice mail. Female voice immediately begins chattering about tax stuff while voice mail greeting plays. Voice mail not yet recording but caller's voice rattling on at the same time as the greeting. When voice mail does begin recording it picks up the last half of the message - standard nonsense about programs ending soon, etc. Idiots.

The DNC list is for LEGITIMATE companies/organizations ONLY. I would estimate that 95%(if not higher) are scam calls trying in some way/fashion to rip you off. They, the crooks are not going to abide by a law set up for legitimate purposes. In addition to which, the #'s that are calling you and leaving bogus messages and or no message have likely spoofed the telephone #. Research some of these topics and get with the scene. SCAM SCAM SCAM Is what is happening to all of us with these calls. You can block them if your phone allows, but they're just going to call back from another spoofed #. It's endless. And if 1% of their database of telephone #'s that they call, fall for the scheme/scam, then they have won.
