Similar to above.. last few days -- "hadn't hear from you or your atty; have until 8m to call back, one of us, or they will take action". suggested with unpleasant results... Same bs.as pvs respondents here . i have no unpaid accts.
No company name, no details, but said I should pay them by 7 PM or I'm going to be sued. Sure, guys. Everyone knows lawyers contact people by phone if they're gonna sue someone.
I received this message from this number: "I've been advised review your paperwork. I though this was unfair based on the fact that I have never spoke with you or your attorney. I do have until about 8pm today to hear from either of you.If you do not I'm going to be forced to render a decision on your behalf possibly the worst outcome for you and my client. My suggestion is to reach out based on the fact this is a voluntary call and I emphasize the word voluntary. Number is 404 437 7313. Unfortunately you have until 8pm this evening. Best of luck to you."
The caller was very monotone and obviously reading from a scrip as he spoke. When I called back I spent forever getting through a voice prompt system and being on hold only to finally get a message that no representatives were available. This was all back on the 13th, Today I've been going through all the SCAM calls I've been getting (seems like it is more and more every day) to report to the Federal Trade Commission's National Do Not Call Registry that I've been registered with since February 2004. As I'm going through each number, I'm calling them back to see what info I can get on who is calling so I can include that in the complain and actually spoke to someone who said they were looking for someone who isn't me. I was told they would remove me from their calling list. Since I never should have been on it in the first place we will see what happens.
