No, the IRS is not calling you, scammers are calling you. The IRS will contact you by US Mail if there's a problem and they won't threaten you with a lawsuit. This is a scam, plain and simple. Just block and ignore their calls.
Left a message saying to call 404-462-4401 to file a lawsuit. The voice mail voice was scrambled. Lets you understand part of the message and the number to call.
Received a call on my cell phone saying Irs filing lawsuit, call back. Returned call on a landline phone. I asked the caller, how did you get my cell phone number, he stated its on the form. I said its not. He said why you talking like that and called me a f______g [***] and hung me. Apparently, someone has hacked into Irs database because he called me by name.
