They called my land line today with a robocall message: "If this is Brian R---- or spouse, press 1 now. If not, hang up immediately." No option to talk to them if they are calling the wrong number.
As far as I have learned, this guy never had my number though another guy these agencies call for did have my number 2 years ago. (I've had the number a year now.) If it is Transworld Systems as an earlier post claims, you can find their contact information on-line.
Yep, they called me too many times, looking for a Bubba Smith. How stupid. I said I am the one, even though I am not. They claimed my AT&T account is overdue... $392 bucks... I'm not behind, so I instantly knew it's a scam. I called her all the [censored] there are on this planet. She kept on telling me that my credit will suffer from it and we will see us in court and such.
This apparent debt collection agency have the wrong number but have kept calling my cell at least once a day for the last 2 months (even on weekends). Very frustrating. They recently started leaving a bogus automated voice message about a "special offer"...
Been getting the same call asking for me or my husband, I havent been with my husband in over a year, I too got the recording that tells you to press 1 if you are _________ or press 5 if not to speak to a representative. I hung up, this cell phone is not in my name it is a company cell. I will not give out any info but how do I stop them from calling
Update for everyone. TSI is Transworld Systems, Inc. a debt collection agency out of Atlanta, GA. There employees work from home. This is why a lot of us are getting calls from cell phones.
