Got a call from "Instant Tech Support" telling me my IP address has been compromised. He wanted me to do some things on my keyboard, which I didn't. He said he got my phone number from Microsoft but he was unable to tell me what my name was. He only had my phone number. Not sure what this is all about, but I am sure it is a scam. Anyone else have this issue?
I got this call from caller ID Virginia 1-571-916-7066 number not in service for sure Microsoft right :) saying they are calling from MICROSOFT the only problem is that I have Microsoft number on hand; Which I called http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/DisplayHelpContactUsPage/ 1-877-696-7786 and they told me this is a scam. The scammers even knew my name by checking the white pages and they claimed that my computer was sending junk to Microsoft Inbox and they asked didn't you see the pop ups about virus which I did not see because there were none! anyways I said I will call Microsoft myself there fake Microsoft number 1-404-566-9884 do not use these hackers! Use dell: http://www.dell.com/ or http://www.microsoftstore.com
same as many above ... have called 6 times... can't scare them... don't let them into your computer !
404 566 9884 shows to be out of Atlanta. This time was Savio Anderson, sounded the same as last guy.
Background sounds like a sweat shop of phone workers. Scam ! Don't bite ! ....
