I'm in VA I thought it was a scam to but now I have to appear in court, I did the same thing I called the Atlanta GA police department and they confirmed it is a local law firm that handles criminal cases
I was compuletely shocked I'm trying to find an attorney to handle my case
I got a call from this # as well I thought it was a scam so I didn't return the call and then I got a voicemail with my county stating that the paperwork will be filed against me
A week later there was a knock on my door I looked out the window and saw a sheriff I opened the door and he stated that he was serving me with a warrant
I wanted to lie and tell him she isn't home but I was too scared I was in jail for a week and now I'm trying to have my lawyer get the felony charge off of my name I don't have enough money for the court costs and legal fees

so who to believe? havent had a phone call from these people in wks then out of the blue she calls my place of employment. have been online researching & have found nothing. looking in wrong spot or are you djones & everette one of them trying to act as one of us?
that's such crap. First off this would be a civil suit not a criminal suit. Second your county does not call and leave a message. Who do you think you are fooling with this post?
