I have been getting phone recordings from 404-996-0717 daily saying that I owe a dept and something about a lidigation with National Mediation Group. They state that a NSF of $25 will be withdrawn from my account and not previos offers are honered now. I try calling them back and I get a recording with a ladies voice, I leave messages to loose my phone # or I will take action on them. They still call back with the same recording message. The phone # they are calling is 208-305-4952. I do not owe a debt with this company or any collection agency.
I received a call at my place of employment from an "Agent" Jane. The statement was something regarding a "bad check" and it was to collect a debt. I have never written a bad check and do not know who this number belongs to. I have no criminal background and was concerned because they called my place of employment.
I had the same person call my place of employment stating the exact same thing. I found it ironic that they said I obtained a debt from a company in 2009 and the exact same debt was settled in 2008 by my attorney. I could not even find their company on the website "National Mediation Group". I think what happens is that certain companies sell your personal information to stay at home people that claim to be "Investigators" working from their basement or bedroom. If you know that you did not obtain this debt or this was handled by an attorney in a court of law, do not worry. They will use every scare tactic known to man up to and including threatening criminal prosecution to get you to pass over your bank information.

DO NOT EVER give these people any personal information and make no kind of arrangements with them. Legitimate organizations DO NOT operate like this; if they persist tell them to call your Attorney but under NO circumstances should you ever engage them.
