This caller texted me for my makeup services asking how much I charge for a full wedding party. After I texted back and told him the quote of a thousand dollars, he said it was fine but if I could do him a favore and charge his cards of 1000 dollars more for the wedding gown designer, because she doesn't have a credit card machine , and he would tip me 150 for the favor. That would be against the law , sorry . Who ever this person is , it's a scam .
I got a text asking about hair and makeup rates for a wedding on July 25th in NYC. Why would anyone in NYC request a MUA who is based out of NC??? S P A M!!!
I got the same exact message from a Michael Collins on May 19 asking about a July 25 date. I automatically questioned it as I am in Oklahoma and he was asking me to travel to New York. Daughter is getting married, plus mom and 7 maids. The crazy thing is I googled the name and there is a Michael Collins attorney that offices off 5th Avenue in NY. Wonder if there is a connection. He told me he got my information off makeupartistdirectory.com which is not a valid website. Besides him trying to send spam email or texts, what is the scam here? Could he get into bank accounts having any of our basic information?
