It is in fact Home Depo Calling. I stopped in and order some lumber to be delivered and it is their automated status update system. You can log on to your Home Depo account and edit or opt out of these phone calls.
I purchased an item from my local Home Depot store & it was delivered yesterday Monday, 7/25/2016, around 4:30pm. I paid for the item in full, so the deal should be over & done with in my opinion. Starting today, 7/26/2016, I have received 4 calls from 1-404-800-7148 over the last 4 hours!! Ugh!!! (@11:37am, @1:44pm, @2:49pm & lastly @3:11pm) I have NOT ANSWERED the calls, & every single time they DO leave a voicemail that tells me to go online to thd.co/my account
Going to that web address only brings me to a Home Depot Log-in type page. I did not & will not answer the calls.
So I just called Home Depot's national customer service #1-800-466-3337. The customer service representative had no idea re: such calls, & he transferred me to Home Depot's "Escalation Team", & I explained to the woman about the calls & she had not heard anything of this & so she asked me if it was okay to put me on a 3-5 minute hold, & I of course agreed.
When she came back to the phone, she told me that she called that phone number & also asked her co-workers if they were aware of this. No one had.
I block these numbers as fast as they come in, but for some reason I left this one. So many in the last few months only call once snd then switch numbers, so blocking them doesn't amount to much. For this one they actually called twice, and then I blocked them. I always have a more local number call to make sure the numbers is active and then get a flood of this kind of call. After a week of quiet I'm back to getting 4-8 new numbers to block on a good day. I'm just itching to wait for a human to come on the line and speak quietly back to them until they turn up the volume on their end, and then take an air horn and blast the telephone with it. I don't think the dogs would like it much, however.
