I've been getting calls from these guys for the past few months and they are relentless. The scams are all different ranging from medical nonsense to computer nonsense but its always the same people on the phone from different numbers they
The first time they called from a FL number. It was a girl with an indian accent on the other line asking about a bladder surgery. I forgot who she said she was calling with now, but it was a medical thing. I told her I don't live in Florida so I don't understand why she was calling me as I hadn't been to any hospitals there. I asked where she got my information and she said I had filled out a medical survey. This is total nonsense for a number of reasons. First I never had surgery. Secondly I obviously didn't fill out a survey about it, and if I did fill one at the hospital there are HIPPA laws that would prevent them from giving out any of my information ESPECIALLY my name! So as I was asking a bit more sternly where she got my information, again she insisted it was from this imaginary survey. She put her "supervisor" on the phone and this guy starts yelling at me, so I hung up and blocked the number. They have been bothering me ever since.
Now its the one who claimed to be "supervisor" who calls me most of the time. I recognize his voice by now. The last time they called (from that 850 number) I told the guy on the other end that the call is being recorded and he started pushing every button imaginable on his phone's keypad.
Just received a call from this number. I picked up knowing it was a scam (they call me ALL the time!), but was speaking Russian with them instead of English to see the reaction. The guy on the other end (who I've spoken to before, but from different phony numbers that I've since blocked - I'll leave a list of them) started screaming at me to "SPEAK ENGLISH." I ended the call with some English words that I'm sure he's heard before ;) and hung up.
He had the nerve to call back before I had the chance to add this number to my blocked list! First time that happened!
I'm not sure how I got on their list. Part of me wonders if they got my full name and phone number from job sites like Monster or Indeed as its the only place I can think of that has my information. If you see this number calling you, decline the call and block the numbers.

Rec'd a call from "Mike" - his English wasn't good enough for me to identify the company. I told him I was busy and to call back tonight...and them blocked the caller.
The concerning point, as already noted, is that they have my name.
All of the calls I get say they are from a compensation board for the blood thinner meds I was taking. I can't hardly make out what they are saying because their english is so bad. Problem is I've never taken any. I also get calls from someone claiming to be from the treasury and they are going to send me an $8,000 grant. I usually call them a few choice words or hand the phone to my four year old which really confuses them.
