This number is for a yellowpages online. I am sure it is not the real deal because they said I had an ad with them that I never signed up for. My suggestion is to report this company to your State Attorney General. They now say I owe them money. I told them good luck getting it.
Yep, they call my cell phone almost daily. And they claim the first year of advertising on line was free and then I owe over $500 for the following year. They want to transfer me to the "supervisor" to get on the cancel list. I am registered on the DO NOT CALL list. I will not be played, transferred, beg to be "cancelled", etc.
I always tell the person they aren't transferring me to anyone. Today, I am notifying the attorney general. I am tired of them interrupting me and raising their voice and their scam and they are disobeying the do not call list. SCAM.......
This is my business cell phone.
These people called me and said that I owe $800.00. So, I used my Visa to pay the bill and now they keep putting on $800.00 charges. Visa will not cancel the card due to holds that they have placed on the account. Today I have received child pornography from Ramsey, Minnesota in the mail. It's says that it is from the Yelow Pages on the box. I called the Costa Mesa PD to come over and now they think that I ordered it because it is not from Ramsey, Minnesota but from Russia.
Called and stated that they needed to talk with the manager. Stated the call would not be put through and they said that were going to relist us and then hung up. No idea what that actually meant. Listed them with the Do Not Call registry. Hopefully they will just GO AWAY!!
I received a phone call from 404-889-8270 from a woman who asked for the person in charge of marketing and accounts payable. I advised that I was the person in charge. I spoke to a the woman and she stated that we owed for the past year, $599.00, for the on-line listing on the yellowpages. Myself nor anyone else in our company ever approved such a charge with anyone. I received another call today from the same phone number. This woman asked for the same person in charge. She stated that she was calling to confirm our cancellation of our online subscription to Yellowpages online listing. I advised that I spoke to someone a few weeks ago and they were suppose to fax me the cancellation paperwork as well as an invoice and provide me proof of the actual request for the on-line listing. After saying this she quickly stated that she would send my invoice back to the corporate office for cancellation and I could deal with them and quickly hung up. I looked up this phone number to see who exactly it was and if it was associated with the yellowpages online and many people advised to report this scam to the FTC as well as my attorney general. I have done both!
