I got a call from 404-895-5538. I didn't answer it.
I came here to check it out.
I have Comcast Phone, and you can go on your account and fwd up to 12 numbers to go to a different number. I send them to a non working number. :)
Same as everyone else ... get a recording; pressed 9. Got a "human" being and asked to speak to supervisor. I was told he was a supervisor. Then I asked if they could please remove my number ... He said I called them by pressing 9.
they have no idea who I am, or who I have credit cards with ... they want you to provide information then you'll get a new card from them.
I didn't provide info, and I don't want a card. I just want my number removed. The conversation ended with the "human" telling me to go F**K myself ... and hung up.
What a terrible life these folks must have to work for a business like this.
Received an automated call from "cardholder services" on 12-23-2010 at 3:45 pm eastern. Male operator refused to advise what company he worked for, or what card he thinks I have. His response was, "I don't think that is a fair question." Her hung up as I asked him to remove my number. My number has been on the www.donotcall.gov list for years. That list is useless.
we got this call yesterday afternoon from same number. didn't answer the phone, didn't call back..came onto google and found this complaint site.
instead of getting annoyed, i'm inclined to play along and make their lives miserable by insulting them. i do'nt care how many times i will get hung up on, but it would absolutely make my day if i pissed off some scammer girl on the other end of the line by calling her a bloody [***] rag piece of [***]. that just warms my heart. anyone else on board for spreading some holiday cheer to these losers?
or if you are also so-inclined....provide them false information. when you get mad or offended by them, they win. make the call embarrassing and hurtful to the other person.
