These jerks are trying to collect a debt that is in dispute with TRANS UNION.. I actually spoke with a woman at Portfolio Recovery and told her that Trans Union is investigating and she say well just pay it now and if its in error we will refund your money.. YEAH RIGHT! SCAMMERS..
BEWARE! They call themselves Portfolio Recovery Associates. For credit card debt collection.
These people are a scam. They call me every day and have been calling my sister and parents on their unlisted numbers. I think they linked us together by facebook, because I never listed them as references or emergency contacts and we all have different last names! They are calling about credit card debt that doesnt belong to me.
We have reported them to the FCC I suggest you do the same!
ROBO CALLS ORIGINATING FROM 404-921-2521 PORTFOLIO RECOVERY. I AM REPORTING THEM TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION WEBSITE ftccomplaintassistant.gov AND THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY WEBSITE donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx TAKES ALL OF 5 MINUTES. IF WE ALL DID THIS EVERY TIME ONE OF THESE CALLS COME IN THEN JUST MAYBE WE COULD PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS!
These [***] have been calling me for about 2 years now. I had 3 credit cards I blew off and they wrote me off as a loss. Statue of limitations on credit card debt is 3 years. They sold my written of debt to these Portfolio [***] and have been hounding me ever since. Don't give them a penny of your money as they are trying to collect on an already written of debt. They call with different numbers from all over the U.S. What you do is each time you get a new number enter it into your cell and set the ringer to off. Problem solved. They can keep calling me 3000 more times I will never talk to their bottem feeder [***]....
