p.s. to previous message posted. They called the friends and family on 02-14-2013. They have been calling me daily for the past 8 days and as I said do not state the name of the company or their phone number.
02-17-2013 through 02-25-2013 time period I have been receiving these calls.
Got a call from this number and a few minutes later a 2nd call--neither of which I answered. Caller id showed it to be a "cellular call". They left a message saying they were the National Mediation Group needing to get in contact with me (using my maiden name & I've been married 25 yrs) to "serve notification about a compliant filed with my name and social security number" on it. The call was "in reference to a fraudlent matter under review" and that they need to talk to me or my "legal representative" within 24 hours.
You could tell the person was reading through a script. At first I thought "What the heck", since I have been having bad luck lately and thought this was just another piece but then I researched them and see it IS A SCAM!
So I guess this place is just using any and all numbers to call and try to scare people.
Continually receive messages from this company about defrauding a company and that a complaints will be filed against my sosical security number. I know this is a scam and want them to start calling me.
SAME CALLS EVERYDAY FROM DIFF PHONE NUMBERS SAME AREA CODE WITH SAME MESSAGE BEEN REPORTING THEM TO THE FDC , AND BBB, EVERYTIME THEY CALLED ME . THIS NEEDS TO BE STOP ASAP. I ALREADY WAS A VICTIM OF FRAUD LIKE THIS BECAUSE I WAS DUMB ENOUGH TO BELIEVE THEM.
Yes EP I agree, I was dumb enough to believe once before but never again. At first they were called Dorsey and Assoicate guess their scam catch up with them so now they are called National Mediation Group. Here are other numbers they call from: 404-996-0716 and 404-935-9490
