This is a legitimate orginization and is legal to call in the state of oklahoma. They use a dialer to call out so certain calls are abandoned and by law you are allowed to have a certain abondentment rate. Don't ask how I know about this place, but lets just say that I wish that I didn't. Yes they keep a portion of the money to cover fundrasing expenses, but the reason you get rude people when you talk or pick up is because of the pay that they give the people on the phone.The office is located out of Denton off of Dallas Dr in Denton.

I picked up the phone and it was dialtone. I thought someone was trying to call me from an AA meeting or something, was racking my brain to think of any friends/relatives that would be going to AA in that area, but I highly doubted it. Couldn't return the call to find out, I have no long distance. Was driving me crazy, been looking everywhere on the web to find out what this AA Troopers was, and then I found this site. Just another darn telemarketer I guess. So tired of them, and they called here at like 9:30 PM! What the **** kind of telemarketer tries to call you that late? Then not even be on the line when you pick up, just to make you wonder if it was really important, like a family emergency or something, a friend is stranded, etc. and make you sweat it out until you find out that it was probably just one of those automatic dialers that these jerks use. Kiss my @$$! I had just gotten the baby asleep too! I'd like to find out where these jerks are and call them during thier "quiet time" and see how they like it, and hang up or pester them for $$ until they find a new line of work. There are better, more effective, and more friendly ways of raising funds for a worthy cause, if that cause is even legitimate.
