This # has showed up several times on my home phone. We are also on the no call list as well. They called again last night but left no message and then called right back and when I answered no one answered me back. I called the number back this morning and received a message saying it was for the American Association of Troopers. I left my message loud and clear that if they called again I would report them as a scam.
Found it on my Caller ID but no message left on voice mail. From other reports it appears this may be a "charity" scam that has been quite popular over the years, always claiming to be associated with law enforcement or fire fighting...
