This # has showed up several times on my home phone. We are also on the no call list as well. They called again last night but left no message and then called right back and when I answered no one answered me back. I called the number back this morning and received a message saying it was for the American Association of Troopers. I left my message loud and clear that if they called again I would report them as a scam.
Has called several times, when you answer say hello, they hang up. Not only is it anoying, it is a bit disturbing because I don't know why they called.
BJ you are absolutley right...this is a scam. It has been on the City news stations. Always surfaces near the holidays. OHP, OKC Firefighters, or OKCPD do not solicite funds in this manner, although they don't mind getting hold of your bond money.
