Yep, they called back - "Home Improvements and Remodeling Group", apparently a clearing house for various home remodeling contractors, cold-calling illegally in disregard of the National Do-Not-Call Registry. I agreed that I needed a LOT of new windows. When the actual contractors call, I'll get information about each, then file a BBB complaint against each ("Unethical Sales Practices") for working with a law-breaking third-party (HI&RG) to receive sales leads. Sometimes if ya' want it fixed right, ya' gotta DIY...
Well these scary scun bags called trying to install free house windows because I supposedly qualified from a contest. They had accurate information about myself too. The man/woman spoke in an thick Indian accent claiming to be representative for home service, there was also loud background noise and when asked to lower the noise they sounded confusssed. No professional business would oppperate with such poor and improper business's etiquite.
Even though it shows an Oklahoma number, the woman said they were out of Florida. Something about our home qualifying for a contractor to give free estimates for remodels. Either way, not interested...since she was chewing in my ear, told her no thanks and to go back eating her lunch and I hung up.
