Unfortunately, I can't ignore many calls, as I work remotely. Usually, if it's not a number I recognize, I pick up but don't say anything. If it's a live person, they'll ask, "Hello?" For this, I thought I was safe, until he started his spiel. However, I do generally agree to political surveys. I looked them up here while I was on the line - and when I saw who they really were (non-partisan my @$$), I think I can have fun when they call back! 3:)
I received several calls from I E. Simple questions, with no apparent left or right lean. Most people wonder where political polls get their stats but when given the chance to participate, you don't want anything to do with them. Do you want to participate in the process or not?
Scam - yes! First two calls they only asked "survey" questions. 3rd call received from this group today confirmed that all Informed Electorate PAC, aka votethewill.org, is really interested in are donations. When I assured him I could not and would not donate, they said they would add me to their Do Not Call list.
