Thanks for the great info and advice. I copied some of what you wrote into an email which I sent to everyone in my Book. In this economy, so many people could fall victim to these predators. Keep up the good- citizen work!

They just called me also at 4:06pm. They advised they wanted to lower my interest and when I asked what card company they called from. They said that were not a card company but they received my info from experian and I qualified to get assistance in contacting my credit card companies for lower interest.I told them I was not interested and they said good and hung up. I then called experian to see what type of companies they provide my info to because they were rude and my number is unlisted. They said they do not give out consumer info. it is illegal.
