Got a call from this number about 10:00 this morning, 9-29-10. When I answered, the line remained opened. I said hello a couple of times, then hung up and Googled the number, found this great website and reported the call to the FCC with the link provided in another report on this site. I would love to try the # key thing if they call back!
I've been getting callls from these jerks for years now, I keep blocking their number (reject last caller in future) but they keep changing the number. A robovoice says something like" Importnat message regarding your credit card. There are no problems, but this is your last chance to lower you interest rate" -- I wish it was. I have waited and pressed appropriate keys to be connected to a rep, as tho I was interested, and then requested removal -- have thus talked to seveeral very rude people, the calls continue. Jerks.
Called with a message stating that it was my "credit card" calling and to stay on the line to be eligable to lower my interest rate. I figured it was a scam but played it out. When the live person answered the phone I asked him which credit card he was calling from. He stated "visa and mastercard" and I replied with "ok but which one?" and he hung up.
SCAM!! feel bad for people who don't know any better
