I got a message from this # about lowering my interest rates, but of course they don't say who they are. Scary, and you know it's a scam when one person gets a message about health insurance and another about interest rates...
Listened to recorded message about credit card rates to get to the # to press to remove my number from their list. Person came on line to talk about credit card rates; I told them I pressed '9' to have my number removed from their list and a very rude, yawning girl said the would and abrupty hung up. Filed complaint on 'Do Not Call' registry.
i got the phone call from 406-426-3277-saying they can lower my interest rate on my credit card .....so i played along ...pushed "2" ....got "James from card services" he proceded to say he wants to lower my interest rate on my credit card becuase i have payed my bill on time { i dont even own a credit card!}....but again i played along ...he asked for credit card # ,exp date, name on card , zipcode .....put me on hold ...then disconnected me ......he is prob trying to use the erroneous info i had just gave him ! I JUST REPORTED THEM TO FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION .....I STRONGLY URGE ANYONE ELSE THAT IS GETTING THESE CALLS TO DO THE SAME ...THE MORE CALLS AND COMPLAINTS THAT ARE FILED , THE MORE INCLINED THE FTC WILL BE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS COMPLETE SCAM ......that will prob take advantage of an uneducated, unsuspecting consumer ....LINK FOR FTC
