ATT traces call to an origination out of the country and that the call was a scam.
They do not find the humour in being accused of being terroist, being reported to the FCC and being called a scam by ATT.
The only thing to do is to file a local police report, get the number and pass that on to your phone companies complaint department. If enough individuals would do this, the phone company would be able to shut them out of the servers. Provided enough people were diligent and provided the spoofed numbers being used.
However, I am not one of those people and just require anyone calling my number to leave a message.
The person who called refused to hang up after I asked them to put my number on the No Not Call List. He argued with me for a while and finally did hang up. He kept asking if I were diabetic and I refused to answer.
Extremely loud call center, and the caller seems really distracted (maybe they are doing multiple calls at once?). Caller is pitching some sort of free heart scan or some other nonsensical medical offer. I told them to stop calling the other night, and now they've called me yet again. Perhaps they will listen to me this time.
