This number shows up on my cell phone every other day. I tried to pay the $1.99 to get the name and address of who this is and it didn't work. I do have a Capital One card and a car loan but all of my accounts paid up to date and on time. When I call the number back all I get is a fast busy signal as if it is invalid.
I got a call from this number yesterday, but didn't answer because I don't know the number. They didn't leave a message. When I called it back, I got an automatic response that it was about loan modifications & to press 1 if I didn't want to receive any more calls about this. So I did. Hopefully it works.
