person called my cell and I didn't answer. thought I would look it up and Voila lots of people today from all over getting calls. My guess is that they are pulling numbers off the internet some way and cold calling them to initiate a scam. ' read the other comments' could be they have an auto dialer and are too busy scamming at times to talk to the next person dailed. just report them and they will have to work harder.
Just received call from this number. Did not answer. They left a recorded message voicemail saying I just won a wireless security system. No other information other than to press "1" if interested.
I'm a school bus driver, they just called my cell like 10the minutes ago. Couldnt answer. I tried to call back. Apparently this is an outgoing number only. [***]. Wish people would just grow up, be honest hard working individuals like myself and quit trying to screw people over.
I just received a call as well. I guess they are starting a new round. I wonder how they get our numbers. Do we all have smart phones? Maybe it's an app we use that we have to enter our number into or something. I didn't answer, they didn't leave a vm, and when I called back it was "busy" according to an automated message. Total scam.
