person called my cell and I didn't answer. thought I would look it up and Voila lots of people today from all over getting calls. My guess is that they are pulling numbers off the internet some way and cold calling them to initiate a scam. ' read the other comments' could be they have an auto dialer and are too busy scamming at times to talk to the next person dailed. just report them and they will have to work harder.
just got a call from this number. google voice transcribed the message as:
Hey guys, This is Sarah. I was here. Hey, We spoke on the phone last week about possibly trying to lower interest rate to reducing your monthly payments on your credit card. So I wanted to let you know that I did find a solution. We've got a program that come over those interest rates as low as 1.5% and possibly got your monthly payment in half and since you were only making the minimum payments that could be a great opportunity for you. This will be my last courtesy call, so please gimme a ring today. You can reach me here at 1(877) 723-1419 Again the number is 1(877) 723-1419.
Just got a call too... Man said hello and I said hello then he hung up. Actually kind of freaked me out a bit. I tried to call it back and it wouldn't even ring. I am so glad that I found this page and now know that I wasn't the only one. I will definitely not be trying to call back again
got a call from 406-623-3644 like a minute ago (12:10pm october 18 pacific time)- i picked up and sad hello?... the guy (sounded like a man in his 30s maybe?) on the other line said "uh, hello"... then hung up on me.
This was a number I did not recognize so I rejected it. Judging by the comments I am glad I did. I cannot believe all of the unwanted calls I get on my prepaid cellphone.
