i also keep getting calls and I told them it was a scam into getting credit card #'s and the woman hung up on me. Trying to get the charges reversed and she was a [***] with a capitol B
Yea smh they are definetly a scam...they called me this morning about some sweeptakes I've been entered in just for having a mastercard. The guy I spoke to was very nice and then all of a sudden his supervisor came on the phone asking me about my card...somehow she convinced me to giving her my card number. Then after I got off the phone with her I looked their company up and found out they were a scam so I called my bank up and had my card blocked
This number called my fiance's phone, we never answered and we have a charge for $66.41 on our bank account even tho we never talked to any one let alone give them a card number for something we didnt want
Just hang up the phone when they call. what makes or stops you from hanging up. is there some one there making you stay on the line. i mean come on???? the consumer has all the power to start with. it's that simple. IT'S THE CONSUMERS FAULT FOR STAYING ON THE LINE AND THEN GIVING OUT THEIR CC NUMBER. DO YOU LOSE ALL RESPONSIBILITIES WHEN YOUR ON YOUR PHONE OR WHAT??? PAY ATTENTION DUMB A$$E$!!!!!
Did everyone on here give them your account information? Or did they already know it? I was told that i would get the diamond watch, the free magazines and then some other magazines i would need to help out with. I told them i had to get off the phone and quickly hung up. I never gave them any account information, i suspect thats why i kept getting calls from an unknown number (3) then i got like 15 calls from the 406 number. they even called 30 minutes ago, my wife answered the phone and started arguing with them about how in-appropriate it was to call so late. When she asked to speak with a manager and the name of the company they hung up. hopefully nothing is charged to my account. If it is, i want the number to the lawyer everyone here is using to join the class action suit. i'll be checking my account the next couple of days and checking back here on this site to give new information and get some.
