This is a very sleazy scam callout number. It first gives you a bot announcement saying that "this is the accounts department call to advise you of an offer to reduce the interest rate on your credit card".
Next, you are connected to a person who begins their script saying that "this is the accounts department calling to advise you of a way to reduce your interest rate on your card balance".
When I asked what credit card company are you calling from, I got, "Visa, Mastercard and Discovery". which is a lie and nondescript.
When I asked, What credit card issuer are you calling from that may have those credit cards? They hung up.
This is a total scam and it appears that they got my phone number from a private stock sales boiler room located on Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles.
