This scammer called and claimed that there was a "pending civil lawsuit" against me, but they wouldn't give any details on anything related to it, other than a factitious case #. They wanted me to verify who I was, but wouldn't tell me anything about them other than their name (I'm sure also fake) and that they were from the "servicing division of CLS". I told them to go [***] a squirrel and hung up.
So I just got a call from 407-255-1482 saying that they were a Unit Processing Center calling to verify that my name and that they were going to serve me with a summons unless I call back 855-535-6876. I called them and they claimed to be a collection agency trying to collect a debt of $900 for a Sprint PCS cell phone bill. Now since I've never had Sprint, when I told the guy that on the phone he was stammering talking about his was going to send my case back to the investigation unit to try to clear things up and if I don't hear back from them in 24-48 hrs consider it resolved. GTFOHWTBS. Sounded like the biggest scam ever. Don't be afraid to call a number back and know your rights!
Same call from James Johnson. I didn't answer so I got the voice mail others here have gotten verbatim so it's obviously a recording. This is fake, a telemarketer or something similar, because a real lawyer would not ask you to call the client, they would want you to call them so they can bill those hours.
Just got a call from these people. Doesn't anyone know that they aren't going to call you if it was real, the Constable/Process Server would just show up at your door with the papers to serve you. I live in MA and someone is going to call me from FL about serving me?? They had my address, let them show up, they will be having a "Come to Jesus" moment when I get done with them.

Info. I asked her to please explain what the call was about because I refuse to provide my personal info. She began to get defensive and eventually hung up. I figured it's just bs. I pay my bills on time and don't owe anyone anything I've defaulted on and I'm absolutely no criminal.
