I was selling an iPhone and he ask me my final price, after that he send me the message bellow:::
<<i'm offering you $350 for the item and $200 for the postage fee to my brother as a birthday gift in West Africa so kindly get back to me with your paypal email
address so i can send the payment now>>

My son posted an ad for a laptop on Kijiji and the guy texted from this number right away.  He asked for the best price and then added another $ 100.00 to it plus $ 300.00 if we would ship it to West Africa  because he wanted a birthday present for their brother.  When asked why he couldn't send it to Africa himself he said he wasnt in the country right now and wanted to be sure it reached his brother in time for his birthday.  I told my son it sounded sketchy so searched up the number and found this site. This guy has texted back several times wanting to know our paypal info so he can pay now and wanted the ad to be taken down as well.

Just got the exact same message for an ad I posted on kijiji a couple hours ago. Raised my price by 100$ as well.

This guy also contacted me after I placed an ad on KIJIJI. He offered me more than the price I had asked for to send to his brother in West Africa. He wanted me to give him my paypal account details
