Same stuff as the rest of the folks before me. Still texting me today. Exactly the same stuff with Mark Thorne. 407 area code is in Orlando, Florida. 1-407-337-6520.
This number (407-227-6520), (1-300-888-4713) and 713 (generally would have been a number in Houston, Tx, but if cell, as all 3 were, those can and are taken with a person to any location). All 3 were texts directly to my cell phone and the person identified themselves as Jessica Larson. Nothing to do with Craiglist, for me, but another site used for elderly care providing, child care providing providing and pet sitting etc. That is the site this one said they saw my profile. They offered a rate of $10 more an hr for the service they were requesting me for, than is typical in this area. They would have seen their, both a picture, my written profile, that has no identifying information on it and some way got my cell phone number. They actually had no profile of themselves and were not even members. I later received a text from this person saying I should have just received a UPS delivery containing pre-payment for 1 weeks' services, I had not accepted and to text back when I got the UPS. It was in my mailbox. It contained a check written on another co. out in CA and was for over 1800. Only $500 would have been 1 week pay at that one's rate, insisted on. I texted back it had been received. (Knew then -NO WAY!). Next texts and plenty became adament I go deposit the entire check in the mail, marked all as Payroll, yet was not. We texted a few times with me letting that one know why I could not deposit that amount in my personal bank account. I stopped texting back and left it alone. Later wrote VOID twice across check and took 4 copies of it and 1 mail to another person. Then tore it 3 ways vertically to destroy it, well enough. Only 1 follow-up text next day to see if I had deposited it. Never and will not reply. Last it internal and secure not to Care.com. Yes scammer by far and not just on Craigslist this one and if look up the 1-300-888-4713 show a good deal of people reporting that # as scammer on Craigslist, a good bit the same as the ones that report under this number.
