Credit call services - this is one of the numbers! I am on the do not call registry. These people call from several numbers and they call all of the time. Have done everything I can to stop it. So far - just today - I have received 7 calls. I can't stand it. How can I get it to stop!
CallerID: FLORIDA, Number: 407-565-9999 Recorded, fast-worded pitch was none other than Benny the Hen wanting money. I suppose because of the Nat'l ID blocking service and whatever, marketers use numbers just like internet surfers use proxy servers. I don't know this; but it wouldn't surprise me they sell the same numbers to multilple marketers, rotating them around to keep the masses confused. Sounds corny, right? This was the 2nd call from the Hen-[***] in 3 days, 2 different numbers. His one blessing is he'll get no telemarketer/ministry begger phone calls in the place of the dead. "All liars (and deceivers) shall have their part in the lake..." Let's start by his hiding his identity with proxy phone numbers and end with the fact he only "heals" on que, anywhere other than a hospital. I can't change the channel fast enough when that devil shows up on my TV. Now he wants to invade my space and time via my phone bill. What kind of number ends in 9999? Really!
I am thinking olf making a purchase of one olf those comprees air horn, and after you answer the call and know for sure it is a robo call or a known number that calls and bothers you... Let them have a blast of the horn... listen and if they have not hung up yet... give them a 2d blast... I plant to do that...
I'm on my 98th call since I started a log, and to have them blocked... maybe you will run out of how many you can block with your phone system. These people pass your number around to other [***]... I'm thinking now that the callers get paid for how many calls they in a day. I believe this is the reason they don't talk after the robo message. They (some) listen for a few seconds to get their computer count, and hang up. So Get an Air Horn... Blast them real good...
