The majority of these calls are place by a computer which automatically places numbers with no answer back in the queue to be called again. Very few of these systems are programmed to leave a message since it would likely serve no purpose to leave one.
Called about someone requesting employment opportunities online, when asked who they were looking for(we have 5 adults in my house) they hang up. I call back they say "oh yes you requested information" and started whatever the pitch was. So I interrupt her and say there's multiple people who live here "who are you looking for?" Hangs up again. Not sure what the point of the scam is....
I just want it to stop, everyday I get phone calls from the same numbers. It's very frustrating because if I don't answer it they just keep on calling and if I do answer it, every time i try to tell them to stop.. They always talk over me and never listen. I've only picked up the phone twice and that's because I had enough and they said that I had signed up for an online job application. Which I never did because I already have a job. So Whoever these people are they need to be stopped NOW! because they are scammers.
