I am on the Do Not Call list as well. I told them that, and they said the rules don't apply to them. I have filed complaints with the FCC. My suggestion, when they call you, keep them on the phone as long as you can to try to figure out who they are.
I've been receiving numerous calls from caller ID “Kissimmee 407-624-4840” – they do not leave a message – the phone rings, the answering machine picks up and whoever the caller is, hangs up. I will be reporting them. I don’t owe them anything, I don’t want to buy anything, answer any surveys, etc. I don’t have extra money for charitable organizations because I lost my job. I pay for my telephone service, not them, and believe that "spamming", "phising" or whatever else they are doing is illegal. I want the phone harassment to stop! Reading complaints on the 800notes website, phoneowner.info, and the whocallsme.com, these people appear to be calling from an energy survey company phoneowner lists it as: Solar1st,FAFCO. State Lic # CGC049871-QB63163 - 6752 Ralston Beach Cr. Tampa, FL 33614, (407)-788-3035--Cell (813)-927-6113 - 1-800-864-9178--(321)-258-2600 (why so many numbers if it's legit?)
