Hi, There appears nothing has been posted since April 2011, I live on the Gold Coast in Australia.
I went onto the web into a site, that I play games on, and had a message in my inbox, and flashed up I had won $3,000 with Perfferred Guest Resort, towards accommodation for a trip to Florida,
I rang the Sydney phone number and was directed to Orlando Florida, I then spoke to a lovely man called Eddie, As I had problem with the 18mth time limit, he put me through to another lovely man called Ross.
At the end of the conversation I had 3 years to use the accommodation etc....7 day car rental, 2 passes to one of the theme parks, a dinner at sunset, a lunch and a breakfast for 2, a cruise to the Bahamas, all for $3,898, - $3,000 I won, so $898 for this great 15 nights help with cheapest travel, so sounded really good, I spoke to my partner and he looked up this site, as I had Ross holding on the phone, he mentioned it was a Time share, and also not the best service with cockroaches, etc... so we did not go ahead with the deal.
Who has been over there in the last year and got a deal like this ? Feedback would be great is this really a Scam ? Had I not rung my partner I probably would have done the deal !!!!
Believe I've received numerous calls from this number or maybe various versions of it. I think it all started with something about a Disney vaca. Would love them to stop calling! I dont answer calls I don't know... And after googling te number and finding this, I'm glad I didn't. Just wish they'd stop calling.
Received solicitation from this number even though I am on the do not call list. The guy
was rude and very sarcastic. Told him I could not stay on the line had emergency call
on hold and he sarcasticly said, oh do you need me to call the hospital. Told him my daughters
boyfriend just died and to call another time. I left a message on his answering machine not to
call me again. Within a hour he called back and was making worried sounds etc. I would like
to find out the company's name so, I can advise his supervisor of his unprofessional behavior
he definately has some problems.
Just got a call from this number, didn't answer because I have googled other random numbers and they always seem to be scams or crazy people like this. Don't answer calls from numbers you don't know! If someone needs to speak with you they will leave a message.
I've had calls from this number several times & finally answered today. I work from home, for an insurance company, so I answered with my businesses name & he asked for me personally. I asked who was calling & he said "State Farm", to make me think he was another business person calling. There was a lot of background noise like he was in a sports bar or something. I told him to please hold, typed an email, then got back on with him & asked how I could help him & he made a rude noise & hung up. I called the number back & got a message that said the extension I was trying to reach was unavailable.
Got two calls from the number today. It shows up as Florida. First call was the guy trying to give me free Disney Vacation. I told him i din't have time and as he started to get rude I hung up. It seems like it's the same guy everyone here is describing. If anyone finds out how to stop the harassment please post. Thanks
